- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups diced apples
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup oats
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and sugar until crumbly.
- Press half the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar.
- Spread the apple mixture over the crust.
