  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the cooled coffee.
  6. Pour batter evenly into the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Allow cakes to cool in pans for 10 minutes, then turn out onto wire racks to cool completely.
