  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 2 apples, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken thighs, season with salt and pepper, and brown on both sides.
  3. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  5. Pour in apple cider and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add apples, thyme, and the browned chicken back to the skillet.
  7. Cover and cook for 30 minutes over low heat.
