- 4 chicken breasts
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and heat. Add chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden on both sides.
- Remove chicken and add onion and garlic to the skillet, sauté until soft.
- Add apple cider and thyme, stirring to combine. Return chicken to the skillet.
- Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Crumble turkey bacon on top before serving.
