- 1 cup wild rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 strips turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup chicken ham, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, combine the wild rice and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes or until rice is tender.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked wild rice, shredded chicken, turkey bacon, chicken ham, onion, garlic, cream of chicken soup, half of the cheese, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
