  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Crush the chocolate wafer cookies into fine crumbs.
  3. Combine the crumbs with melted butter and press into a tart pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes then let cool.
  5. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until just boiling.
  6. Remove from heat and add chopped chocolate, stirring until smooth.
  7. Mix in vanilla extract and pour over the cooled crust.
