Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Fold in the diced apples.
