  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour until smooth.
  3. Add chicken broth and milk gradually, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  4. Add the cooked chicken, peas, carrots, salt, pepper, and onion powder, and mix well.
  5. Pour the chicken mixture into a pie crust in a pie pan.
  6. Cover with the second pie crust, seal the edges, and cut slits in the top crust for steam to escape.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
