- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
- Remove bacon and add orzo to the pot, stirring for about 2 minutes.
- Add chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and add broccoli. Cook until orzo is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
- Chop turkey bacon and sprinkle on top before serving.

- For a vegetarian version, omit turkey bacon and use vegetable broth.
