Gingerbread Latte Mousse Domes

A delightful blend of gingerbread and coffee flavors, these mousse domes are perfect for winter indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup brewed espresso
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 gelatin sheets
  • 1 cup chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the espresso, sugar, molasses, ginger, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and salt. Heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the gelatin to the espresso mixture, stirring until dissolved.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the espresso mixture into the whipped cream.
  6. Pour into dome molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  7. Once set, carefully unmold and drizzle with melted chocolate.

  • Serve chilled for the best flavor.
  • Can be made a day in advance.
