Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon green food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon blue food coloring

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a pot, combine the rinsed rice, water, olive oil, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until water is absorbed.
  4. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.
  5. Fluff the rice with a fork and add the food coloring, mixing until evenly distributed.
  6. Serve in a dark room for the glowing effect!
