  • Green food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip the egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add the sugar, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form and the mixture is glossy.
  4. Add vanilla extract and green food coloring, and mix until combined.
  5. Transfer the meringue to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  6. Pipe the meringue in a tree shape on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours until crisp and dry.
  8. Once cooled, garnish with edible glitter if desired.
