  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin puree
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for about 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • For added flavor, you can mix in chocolate chips or nuts.
  • Store the bread wrapped in plastic to keep it moist.
