Pumpkin Pot de Crème

A luscious and creamy dessert that captures the essence of fall, perfect for pumpkin lovers.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it begins to steam.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually whisk in the hot cream until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into ramekins and place them in a baking dish.
  6. Fill the baking dish with water halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until set.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
  • Can be made a day in advance for convenience.
