Savory Salisbury Steak Meatballs

A delicious combination of turkey bacon and classic Salisbury steak flavors in easy-to-make meatballs.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine beef broth and cornstarch. Stir until smooth, then pour over browned meatballs in the skillet.
  5. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer for about 15 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.
  6. Serve warm with mashed potatoes or pasta.

  • For added flavor, consider adding fresh herbs such as parsley or thyme.
