  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy; set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, brown the beef roast on all sides.
  3. Place beef in the slow cooker; add chopped onion, garlic, and carrots.
  4. In a bowl, mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, salt, and pepper; pour over the beef.
  5. Crumble the turkey bacon on top.
  6. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  7. In the last hour, add diced potatoes.
  8. Serve hot with gravy.
