Southern Bacon Deviled Eggs

  • 6 large eggs
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chives, chopped

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot, covering with water, and boiling for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove eggs from the pot, cool under cold water, and peel.
  3. Slice the eggs in half and scoop out the yolks into a bowl.
  4. Cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble it into the yolk mixture.
  5. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the yolk and bacon mixture; mix until smooth.
  6. Pipe or spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg whites and sprinkle with chopped chives.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the yolk mixture.
